Beyond the amount of home a person is able to buy, or for some the ability to buy a home, are there more contributing factors why so many have chosen to back their bags for Cow Town?

Recently I've seen a listing for a "Micro Apartment" in downtown San Francisco for $400,000. Certainly people are willing to pay the extraordinary prices that the Bay Area offers but what are the factors that have contributed to so many more abandoning the lifestyle this city has offered for so many years.
At the end of the day the pocketbook may speak the loudest offering many the ability to save a significant amount of money for their future. For some it may be the opportunity to buy their first home. Whatever the reasons it is happening and by the thousands.
Maybe the grass is greener and that there is allot more of it. The image of kids and pets playing in the backyard has become a reality beyond the images seen. Perhaps it's having the ability to park two cars in a garage or freedom to have guest where they don't have to pay for parking.
It may by just one thing or a combination of many that are influencing those to come to the Sacramento Region. If you are considering the move always remember that most things in life aren't permanent and quite a bit easier than what your ancestors faced when they crossed the mountains in covered wagons powered by horses.
The beauty of it all is that you can choose the world that is best for you and your family. At it's very least come visit Sacramento and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
